The More Than Project was co-founded by Kate Swenson and Amanda DeLuca in 2021 to serve special needs caregivers, and their families. We are incredibly passionate about supporting the special needs family, especially the caregiver, and quickly saw the need to bring people together to help combat the unique isolation that caregivers face.
Our missions have included, More Than A Caregiver Respite Retreats, More Than A Teacher, More Than A Sibling, disability-led Small Business Spotlights, and more.
Our focus to bring caregiver's and families together has lead to many in-person retreats for the special needs caregiver, community events, and online initiatives.
